The Traveling Piano brings improvisational music to people. It's about inspiring. It's about encouraging and empowering people to express themselves freely through music. The Traveling Piano delivers a gift of creativity, a lift of spirit for communities and people from all walks of life.

Along with a Piano Dog named Mo, Piano Man Danny Kean lives synchronistically while using spontaneity to create music for people to discover. The spirit of Piano Dog Boner who passed in 2010 is ever present. There are no costs, fees or solicitation and there are no scheduled performances. The Traveling Piano is without commercial, organizational or political association. This is a mission of fun, friendship and respect. Visits and stays are with individuals and communities who invite. The intent... to create relationship and friends with the idea of strangers becoming less afraid of strangers.

The Traveling Piano has been on the road, on its journey now since 2006. This follows two decades of musical success as Raggin' Piano Boogie: A full time career of piano performance via the outdoors on the back of a red pickup truck!
